As co-owner and operator of Auckland’s Sacred Tattoo along with Dan Anderson, New Zealand’s Dean Sacred describes himself as “the first to arrive and the last to leave every day” even on days off, and that work ethic translates beautifully to his art. Over the years, Dean has gone from his days tattooing in the mid-‘90s to opening Sacred in 1998, where he has used styles ranging from Japanese to black and grey portraits and many more.
