This North Carolina-based artist describes his style as “less is more”, but his tattooing – particularly his animal and rose tattoos – is nonetheless incredibly detailed and intense, taking classic tattoo ideas and making them burst with colour. Over the past decade, Chris Stuart has harnessed his artistic talents into a unique brand of tattooing, putting his twist on traditional Americana-style tattoos as well as script work and Japanese-inspired art for a style imbued with not only subtlety, but a major dash of personality as well.
